Biography

Robert Pagane was born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Pagane graduated from the Allegheny County Police Academy in 1989. His career experience includes working as a police officer. Pagane has been affiliated with the International Police Work Dog Association and the Fraternal Order of Police.[1]

I am a Wilkins township resident and home-owner of 22 years and a Penn Hills graduate. Studied Criminal justice, Philosophy and art at a local college and Police academy. I have 30 impeccable years of serving the public as a law enforcement officer including 5 years in the city of Pittsburgh, 13 years as a K9 handler. I had my career. Now I want to lead to restore the communities of district 34. It can be done, together with your help. Our streets and schools are becoming more unsafe by the day. Our elderly face tremendous tax burdens. Businesses and homeowners are fleeing as a result. It is time to stand up, unite, and rebuild district 34.
  • Safety matters. If our streets are safe businesses will come. If our streets are safe persons seeking home ownership will shop here. If our schools are safe our children can learn and their parents can feel confident that their child is in a secure learning environment.
  • Our elderly residents face tremendous tax burdens, regardless of political affiliation. Taxes do no discriminate. Harrisburg seems not to care. It is time someone make a stand to find ways to lesson the taxation of our senior citizens. I have a plan.
  • I have lived here most of my life. I know this area. Gaining this house seat is not a stepping stone. I have had my career. Now I want to fight for this district and help raise it from the ashes. Party affiliations do not concern me. We are all in this struggle together.
Safety in our schools, on our streets and in our communities. Finding ways to provide for our youth population and give them opportunities to be successful. Serious crime and drug issues need to be addressed and tackled.

Taxes in Pennsylvania remain on the rise. They affect everyone including a tremendous impact on our seniors. The system is imperfect and unfair. I am willing to suggest better ways and convince others to join me in the fight.

I will never be convinced that government is the answer.
My father and mother. Truck driver, stay at home mother and providers their lives. raised and Taught 4 children how to become successful good people.
No one in particular. I have read countless US history books and stories. I have read numerous philosophical books from the minds of great thinkers. I also have a great understanding of how governments fail when the persons that are enrolled in them no longer serve the people.
Honesty and integrity. An official who actually gets elected and does what his or her constituents elected them to do.
I believe in doing what I say I will do. This is a mindset that was instilled in me at an early age. And I do not like to start something and not finish it regardless of what that might be.
I believe in being honest, cooperative and ethical.
To be faithful to the voters who elected he/she to office first and foremost. Then to do what is best for the residents of the entire state.
I am not interested in leaving a legacy.

Bright lights Big city. It is phenomenally written in a manner that you, the reader, are the main character in the book. I have yet to read a similar book. And I have read hundreds and hundreds of books.
Purple rain, Bruce Springsteen's tribute version. I play sax and sing in a band and we have just started doing this tune. I have listened to it a hundred times in order to perform it and give it its just due.
Everyone has struggles and each persons is different. I don't feel a need to expand on what I have considered struggles as they may seem quite minor to some or quite severe to others. The bottom line is that I have overcome every one.
It is no different than the President and the federal legislature. Our state constitution lays out the rules and powers of each branch and efforts need to be made to work together.
Pa is a huge farming state and possesses abundant natural resources however there is a real struggle taking place in regard to our future economics.

Our education systems are failing. The research and data will clearly reveal that. We rank very low amongst the 50 states.Changes need to be made. That cannot be ignored or denied any longer.
I believe unicameral gives too much power to one body and eliminates the exchanges of ideas and concerns and is an imperfect way of governing.
Obviously not. This is my first foray into politics. What is necessary is an ability to communicate with all people. What is necessary is an "understanding" of government, OUR government. And I think it's important to know the history of our nation and the history of our government.
Yes. It makes working together that much easier. There seems to be too much division in our current times. Little good is getting accomplished.
Districts should be formed not just based on populations but on the culture of all the persons being grouped together. Socially speaking I don't believe placing large groups with absolutely different needs together in one district. It is not fair to the citizens and makes it very difficult for their leaders.

Only if it is truly necessary for the good of the people and the people stand behind the use of those powers.
Absolutely. The reasons this country and our states are in such turmoil is because of too many hard lines drawn in the sand. It is time to kick sand in those lines and move them forward. It is time to be open minded, to actually hear others. Only then will we begin to come together as a united people and United states.
