Robert Pickett is a member of the Alaska Regulatory Commission. Pickett assumed office on March 7, 2008. Pickett's current term ends on March 1, 2026.
Pickett was appointed by former Gov. Sarah Palin (R) to the Regulatory Commission of Alaska.[1] He was reappointed on April 17, 2014.[2]
Biography
Prior to his appointment to the Alaska Regulatory Commission in 2008, Pickett had worked in the state's housing industry for over 30 years. He worked for the Alaska Housing Finance Corporation for 21 years in a variety of roles including Property Disposition Manager, Planner, and Program Manager. Additionally he has worked in consulting, real estate sales and marketing, management of a materials testing laboratory for the Alaska Department of Transportation and surveying for the U.S. Forest Service in Southeast Alaska.[1]

Pickett was appointed by former Gov. Sarah Palin to the Alaska Regulatory Commission in January 2008. He was reappointed on April 17, 2014 by Gov. Sean Parnell. Pickett served as the chair of the commission from July 1, 2008 to June 30, 2011, July 1, 2014 to June 30, 2015, and again from July 1, 2019 to June 30, 2020.[1][3]
