|Robert is a decorated Combat Veteran, having served in Iraq in 2009 and is a currently serving Soldier in the U.S. Army Reserve. He holds the rank of Major.
"I'm running for the PA House because there is always more work that can be done in our district, and I'm confident I'm the person to get things done," Prah said in a prepared statement. "I never thought at this point in my life I would run for state house, but I've had a lot of support the last couple of months and have been meeting people from all over the district. I discussed this with my wife, parents, family and close friends, and we think this is our chance to continue to be involved and make a difference. With my service in both the military, higher education and in public service, it's important that we keep each other accountable and make ourselves available in the offices in the district and active in our communities.. I bring a unique perspective, as having served in the Army for more than 19 years, more than 14 total years in higher education, and in our local communities for more than 20 years."
A few of Prah's campaign priorities include continuing the fight at the local, state and federal level regarding the opioid crisis; ensuring adequate funding for public schools and higher education; & meeting with constituents and elected officials within the district regarding proposed legislation of PA State Police coverage.- A trusted leader who will work full-time both in Harrisburg and in-District
- Robert will fight in Harrisburg to help those affected by the opioid & suicide epidemic
- An advocate for Veterans and their families as well as ensuring adequate funding for Pre-K, K-12 and Secondary Education
o Reducing the size of the legislature; Pennsylvania is the 3rd highest pay Legislature in the United States
o Advocating for an independent commission to determine legislative districts / boundaries; representatives and senators SHOULD NOT determine their own districts
