Robert R. Rigsby is an associate judge for the Superior Court of the District of Columbia. He was appointed to the court by President George W. Bush and confirmed in 2002.[1]

Military service

Rigsby is a Colonel in the United States Army Reserve. He served on active duty in the JAG Corps from 1987 to 1992. In June 2003, Rigsby was appointed a Military Judge. In 2009, he was deployed as a judge and in 2010, he was selected as Commander of the 150th Legal Support Organization and Chief Reserve Trial Judge.[1]

Education

Judge Rigsby received his undergraduate degree from San Jose State University and his J.D. from the University of California Hastings College of Law.[2]
