Robert Sanders (Democratic Party) is a member of the Mississippi House of Representatives, representing District 29. He assumed office on November 3, 2021. His current term ends on January 4, 2028.
Sanders (Democratic Party) ran for re-election to the Mississippi House of Representatives to represent District 29. He won in the general election on November 7, 2023.
Biography
Robert Sanders was born in Shaw, Mississippi, and lives in Cleveland, Mississippi. Sanders graduated from Shaw High School in 1980. He earned a degree from Mississippi Valley State University in 1984.[1]
Sanders' career experience includes working as the chief of police of Mississippi Valley State University and Shaw Police Department, an internal affairs investigator with the Mississippi Department of Corrections, and the sergeant at arms of the Mississippi State Senate. He has served as the vice president of the Mississippi Association of Chiefs of Police.[1]
