Robert E. Sheets (Democratic Party) was a member of the Charleston City Council in West Virginia, representing Ward 8. He assumed office in 2019. He left office on January 3, 2023.

Sheets (Democratic Party) ran for re-election to the Charleston City Council to represent Ward 8 in West Virginia. He lost in the Democratic primary on May 10, 2022.

Sheets was a 2014 Democratic candidate for District 37 of the West Virginia House of Delegates.[1]

Elections for the West Virginia House of Delegates took place in 2014. A primary election took place on May 13, 2014. The general election was held on November 4, 2014. The signature filing deadline for candidates wishing to run in this election was January 25, 2014. Mike Pushkin defeated Archie Chestnut, Brad Heflin, Richard Lindsay and Robert Sheets in the Democratic primary. Charles Minimah was unopposed in the Republican primary. Pushkin defeated Minimah in the general election. Tadd Haynes (R) withdrew before the primary.[1][2]
