Robert Taylor (Oregon)
Robert Taylor is the former interim Oregon Secretary of State. He first assumed office on February 18, 2015, and served until Governor Kate Brown (D) appointed Jeanne Atkins effective March 11, 2015.[1][2]

Career
Taylor worked with the Congressional Budget Office between college and law school. He has previously worked as an attorney at a law firm in Portland. Taylor spent three years as the Secretary of the Senate prior to joining the secretary's office in 2014.[3][4]

Taylor became interim secretary on February 18, 2015, replacing Kate Brown (D). Brown assumed the governor's office from John Kitzhaber (D) following his resignation due to an ethics scandal. Taylor served as interim secretary until he was replaced by Jeanne Atkins on March 11, 2015.[1]
