Robert Turner (Wisconsin)
Robert Turner (b. September 14, 1947) is a former Democratic member of the Wisconsin State Assembly, representing the 61st District since 1991.
Turner served on the Racine City Council from 1976-2004. He is a former sales and personnel manager, and served in the Air Force from 1967-1970.
Turner is a member of the American Legion, American Veterans, National Association for the Advancement of Colored People (NAACP), Northside Revitalization Committee, Post 1391 - Veterans of Foreign Wars, and the Vietnam Veterans of America.[1]

Turner was re-elected to Wisconsin State Assembly District 61. He defeated Libertarian George Meyers in the general election on November 2, 2010. Turner defeated Democrat James DeMatthew in the September 14, 2010, primary election.[2]
