Robert Van De Hey

Robert P. Van De Hey is a judge for the Grant County Circuit Court, Branch 1, in Wisconsin.[1] He was appointed to the court in 1998 by Governor Tommy Thompson and elected in 1999.[2] Van De Hey was re-elected in 2005 and most recently 2011.[3]
Van De Hey won re-election without opposition in the general election on April 4, 2017.
Education
Van De Hey earned his B.S. from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 1982, and his J.D. from the same school in 1985.[3]

Elections
2017
Wisconsin held local judicial elections in 2017. Forty-eight circuit court seats were up for election on April 4, 2017. Three seats required primaries on February 21, 2017, with the top two vote recipients for each seat advancing to the April 4 general election. Thirty-seven seats up for election in 2017 were unopposed.[4] Incumbent Robert Van De Hey ran unopposed in the general election for the Branch 1 seat on the Grant County Circuit Court.
