Robert Vaughn is a judge of the Clark County Court of Common Pleas in Ohio. He was appointed by Governor John Kasich (R) on August 25, 2017. Vaughn took office on October 2, 2017.[1]

Biography

Vaughn received his undergraduate degree from the Ohio State University and his J.D. from the Capital University Law School. Vaughn's professional experience includes working as an assistant university counsel and assistant professor at Cedarville University. Before joining the Cedarville University faculty, Vaughn served as an assistant attorney general, as a staff attorney for the local court of claims, and as a case management counsel for the Ohio Supreme Court.[2]

General: He was defeated in the general election on November 4, 2014, after receiving 47.8 percent of the vote. He competed against incumbent Judge Jeffrey Froelich. [3]
