Robert W. Puente (Wisconsin)
Robert Puente was a member of the Milwaukee Common Council in Wisconsin, representing District 9. He was elected to the council in 2004.[1] Puente was defeated by Chantia Lewis in the general election on April 5, 2016.
Biography
Puente received a bachelor's degree in criminal justice from Mount Senario College and graduated from the F.B.I. National Academy and the Police Staff & Command Program at Northwestern University. Puente was with the Milwaukee Police Department for 27 years.[1]

The city of Milwaukee, Wisconsin, held elections for mayor and city council on April 5, 2016. A primary election took place on February 16, 2016. All 15 city council seats were up for election. Chantia Lewis defeated incumbent Robert W. Puente in the Milwaukee City Council District 9 general election.[2]
