Robert W. Stewart is a former judge on the Athens County Court of Common Pleas Probate/Juvenile Division in Ohio.[1] He was first elected to the court in the November 2002.[2][3] Stewart was re-elected to the Athens County Court of Common Pleas Probate/Juvenile Division in 2014.[4] Stewart passed away on September 12, 2020.[5]

Stewart received his undergraduate degree from Ohio University and his J.D. from the University of Toledo.[7]
Career
Before becoming a judge, Stewart worked as an attorney in private practice in Athens County for over twenty-five years. He has also served as a magistrate for the Athens County Court of Common Pleas Probate and Juvenile Division since 1980 and was a prosecutor and attorney for the U.S. Army's Judge Advocate General.[8]
