Illinois: Yesterday, it was announced that Robert R. Wilt was chosen to fill a vacancy on the Seventeenth Judicial Circuit Court in Illinois. Wilt was one of twenty-four candidates that applied to fill a vacancy on the court.[1][2]

Wilt has spent his legal career in private practice. He has also been listed as "Who's Who in American Law," a publication by the National Trial Lawyers.[3]

If Wilt wishes to continue serving, he must run for election to the seat he was appointed to in the 2012 election.[4]
