Roberto López Román (New Progressive Party) is a member of the Puerto Rico House of Representatives, representing District 31. He assumed office on October 7, 2025. His current term ends on January 2, 2029.

López Román (New Progressive Party) ran in a special election to the Puerto Rico House of Representatives to represent District 31. He won in the special general election on September 28, 2025.

Biography

Roberto López Román was born in Caguas, Puerto. He earned his bachelor's degree in political science from Florida International University and his master's degree in sociology from Florida International University. As of his 2021 campaign, López was attending the Metropolitan Campus of Inter-American University for his doctoral studies in history. His career experience includes working as the head of the Nautical Tourism Division in the Puerto Rico Tourism Company.[1]
