|- I was fortunate to grow up in a special time and place. Like so many growing up in Chicago’s northwest suburbs in the late 1990s and early 2000s, I recall a time of feeling secure in our community while feeling optimistic about our future. Yet the policies of the past quarter century have not fulfilled the promises of this millennium—and I feel a calling to live up to that potential.
- As an advocate for education, I believe all parents and students have the right to choose and attend the best schools. I’ve spent most of my career working in education and have seen what can go right and what can go wrong. I also believe that local services, especially senior services, must meet the highest standards and accountability.
- From leading beautification and capital improvement projects, to ensuring residents receive exemptions to fight an over-burdening tax system, I will work as a trustee to make our township both appealing and affordable again.
Most of all, I try to live a life prescribed by the teachings of Jesus Christ.
