Biography
Uranga's professional experience includes working as an administrator at California State University, Long Beach, as a personnel analyst and a recruitment officer for the city of Long Beach, as the manager of police impounds, and as the administrative officer for the Long Beach Department of Health and Human Services.[1]

2014
The city of Long Beach, California held city council elections on June 3, 2014. A primary election took place on April 8. Because one candidate received more than 50 percent of the vote in the District 7 primary, the general election was called off. Roberto Uranga defeated Joan V. Greenwood, Lee Chauser and Teer L. Strickland.[2][3][4]
