Robin Green is the Division 1 judge of the Nineteenth Circuit West of Arkansas. She was elected to the bench in 2008 for a term expiring in 2014. On May 20, 2014, she ran unopposed for and won re-election to the Nineteenth Circuit West. Her term will expire in 2020. Green's father was a Searcy County judge for two decades.[1][2][3][4][5]

Education

Green received her undergraduate degree from Hendrix College in 1990. She went on to earn her J.D. at the University of Arkansas.[3]

Career

Before becoming a circuit judge, Green worked as a Benton County civil attorney and as a prosecuting attorney for Benton County. She also served as a special justice on the Arkansas Supreme Court. She was admitted to the bar in 1993. While in law school, she was a clerk for William Wilson, now a senior federal judge. Her first job in law was during high school, when she worked after school and on weekends for a lawyer.[3][6]
