Robin Kinney
Robin Kinney was the acting Kentucky Commissioner of Education. Kinney assumed office on September 30, 2023. Kinney left office on July 1, 2024.
Kinney was named acting commissioner by the Kentucky Board of Education on September 14, 2023.[1][2]
About the office
The Kentucky Commissioner of Education is an appointed state executive position in the Kentucky state government.
The commissioner of education serves as chief executive of the Department of Education and is responsible for administering, structuring, and organizing the Department and its services.[3]
