Robin L. Riblet
Robin L. Riblet is a recalled federal bankruptcy court judge on the United States Bankruptcy Court for the Central District of California. She was first appointed to the court on March 30, 1988, by the United States Court of Appeals for the 9th Circuit and was reappointed on March 30, 2002.
Riblet retired on May 1, 2014, and agreed to serve as a recalled bankruptcy judge through December 15, 2015. The Ninth Circuit reappointed Riblet as a recalled bankruptcy judge in 2015, 2016, 2017, and 2018.[1]
Education
Judge Riblet obtained a B.A. degree, cum laude, from the University of Florida in 1971. She received her J.D., cum laude, from the University of San Diego School of Law in 1975. In 1979, she earned a master of law degree from the New York University School of Law.[1]
