I am a queer non-binary trans woman and lifelong Georgian, who is running in order ensure that the community that I was born and raised in has the representation and voice that it needs the most. I'm an advocate with over a decade of community organizing experience and combined with my educational background in political science, I have what it takes to stand up for my district.
  • In a time of rising authoritarianism, we need all of our elected officials to stand up for the most marginalized of us. When elected I will refuse to back down from this onslaught and ensure that I do everything in my power to keep Georgia safe for everybody.
  • District 5 had the lowest voter turnout in the state in the 2024 election and for many living in the district that I have talked to, they don't feel heard and represented, which makes their vote feel useless. I am running to engage the district, show up for the community, and give those voters a reason to show up to vote again.
  • I will continue to build community and connections within the district after being elected so not only my constituents can have their voices heard, but I can then elevate those voices to the Capitol and have them be reflected in the policies that I write and push hard to pass. With me in office we all will have a voice in the room.
For my district, housing affordability, education, and traffic are of the utmost importance, but I have specific knowledge and passion for LGBTQ+ policy and environmental policy.
