2014
McGregor's website highlighted the following campaign themes:[6]
Education
- Excerpt: "Adequately Fund Education. Fund public schools, not charter schools (most of which are run by for-profit companies). Repeal EAA. Reform Common Core. Stop the Assault on Our Teachers"
Labor
- Excerpt: "Workers’ Rights. Equality. Creating new jobs"
Infrastructure
- Excerpt: "We need to update all of of [sic] infrastructure, including: roads, bridges, gas mains, electric services, and more. We also need to look toward using newer technologies and methods for updating our infrastructure so that we have a solid infrastructure for years to come. Finally, instead of raising the gas tax to pay for roads, we need to look at these issues as an opportunity to create new jobs and increase our tax base rather than charging some people and not others (for instance electric and hybrid vehicle owners)."
