|- I will fight for health care services that we need including increased funding for emergency services and access to urgent care, acute care, and affordable long term care services. I will protect access to comprehensive reproductive healthcare and believe women should be in charge of their own bodies.
- I want a better future for our students and believe by providing resources they need, like universal school lunches, more vocational programs, and access to special education services as well as mental health services we will see a better prepared young adult who can work and stay in their own community. That working on a living wage that supports independence in their community will benefit all. I also believe that providing anti-bullying and suicide prevention programs will provide inclusivity for our families and promote healthier communities.
- I support our aging population and people living with disabilities and will work for more options for aging in place. I believe there is a need for affordable long-term care service options and have spear-headed the SHARE Housing program in Pike and Wayne, and Monroe Counties. I believe keeping the Elder Abuse Task Force and their awareness programs to educate the community and work to prevent more fraud, scams, and abuses of our aging adults. Dementia and other cognitive disorders are increasing with the growing population and I believe more caregiver support-type programs and Dementia Friendly Communities are necessary to support families and promote a quality of life and dignity and respect.
