Five seats on the Kings Canyon Unified School District Board of Education were up for general election on November 4, 2014. The seats from Trustee Areas 1, 2, 3 and 4 were up for election to four-year terms. The Trustee Area 7 seat was up for election to a two-year term due to an appointment on the board.
The Trustee Area 1 race featured incumbent Noel C. Remick and challenger Efrain Tovar. Remick defeated Tovar and won re-election to his seat. In Trustee Area 2, incumbent Sarah Rola ran unopposed and won re-election by default. Trustee Area 3 incumbent Timothy Heinrichs faced two challengers, James Blied and Connie L. Brooks, and was defeated by Brooks. Incumbent Robin Tyler ran against challenger Juan R. Sandoval for the Trustee Area 4 seat and won re-election. Appointed incumbent Clotilda Mora ran unopposed and won re-election to a two-year term in Trustee Area 7 by default.

The Trustee Area 4 election was canceled due to lack of opposition. Incumbent Robin Tyler was re-elected by default.[3]
