Collapse all
|- I support ALL Constitutional rights & freedoms. The 9th amendment notes we all have MORE rights than specifically listed (including parental rights, medical freedom, etc.), and the 10th amendment states that like government has NO rights not specifically granted.
- Serious environmental problems (ocean plastics, climate, PFAS/PFOA, pollinator decline, etc.) require BI-partisan solutions/actions based on discussion of a range of data-driven solutions - NOT partisan agendas.
- Education is critical for our collective future as a nation. Schools must graduate students who can read, write, do math, understand civics, be physically fit, and hopefully music & art. Schools should NOT promote any political agendas.
Environment, sustainability, energy policy
Commitment to constituents first - NOT to party or any individual politician.
This is all immensely helpful. I'm sure political experience is helpful in the current (too corrupt) environment, but our founders envisioned public service - not career politicians...and too much time in politics may be a red flag...
However, it is never ok to ignore, withhold or violate constitutionals rights and freedoms!
