Hi! I am Robyn Vining, and I am a Wauwatosa mom and small business owner who first ran for office in 2018. I have served in the state legislature for almost 6 years now. I believe in smart, tenacious, compassionate leadership, and working hard to represent the voices of my district.

Some of the topics I have focused on in my work as a legislator include:

Mental Healthcare Is Healthcare legislation Fair Maps Supporting our public schools Supporting teachers Quality affordable childcare Expanding mammogram affordability and access Restoring reproductive freedom Ending gun violence Combating domestic violence Protecting kids from human trafficking Maternal and infant health Postpartum Medicaid Expansion Expanding the conversation on menopause (new!) “Go Big For Small Business” portal Epinephrine affordability Forward on Climate legislation Universal Changing Stations bill--making the world more accessible And more!

Some committee and other work includes: • The Milwaukee Delegation (Chair) • The Assembly Committee on Mental Health and Substance Use Disorder Prevention (Ranking Member) • The Assembly Committee on Family Law (Ranking Member) • The Assembly Committee on Health, Aging, and Long-Term Care • The Assembly Committee on Children and Families • The Assembly Committee on Jobs, Economy and Small Business Development • The Speaker’s Task Force on Childhood Health (Vice-Chair)

• 2022 State-Tribal Relations Study Committee
  • Wisconsinites deserve affordable, accessible healthcare.
  • Every child in Wisconsin has the constitutional right to an adequately funded education, and legislators must do their job to ensure this right.
  • In the face of division, we must unite on our shared values. There is far more than unites us than divides us, and it is my hope we can find common ground that serves the common good.

Scorecards

See also: State legislative scorecards and State legislative scorecards in Wisconsin

A scorecard evaluates a legislator’s voting record. Its purpose is to inform voters about the legislator’s political positions. Because scorecards have varying purposes and methodologies, each report should be considered on its own merits. For example, an advocacy group’s scorecard may assess a legislator’s voting record on one issue while a state newspaper’s scorecard may evaluate the voting record in its entirety.

Ballotpedia is in the process of developing an encyclopedic list of published scorecards. Some states have a limited number of available scorecards or scorecards produced only by select groups. It is Ballotpedia’s goal to incorporate all available scorecards regardless of ideology or number.

Click here for an overview of legislative scorecards in all 50 states. To contribute to the list of Wisconsin scorecards, email suggestions to editor@ballotpedia.org.
