Rochelle Galindo is a former Democratic member of the Colorado House of Representatives, representing District 50 from January 4, 2019, to May 12, 2019. She resigned from the chamber on May 12, 2019, amid allegations of sexual misconduct by a former staff member.[1]

Biography

Representative Galindo served on the Greeley Youth Commission in high school and eventually became a field organizer for President Obama’s 2012 re-election bid. Since then, she has worked on a variety of campaigns, including State Representative Dave Young’s re-election bid in 2014. In 2015, she was elected to a position within the City of Greeley.[2] In May 2019, she resigned from her position in the Colorado Assembly.[3]

A scorecard evaluates a legislator’s voting record. Its purpose is to inform voters about the legislator’s political positions. Because scorecards have varying purposes and methodologies, each report should be considered on its own merits. For example, an advocacy group’s scorecard may assess a legislator’s voting record on one issue while a state newspaper’s scorecard may evaluate the voting record in its entirety.
