I am the non traditional candidate running because the time is too short to take a chance any longer. We must stop MAGA and PROJECT 2025 from destroying our Democracy. There is so much more, including, but not limited to stopping Private Equity Institutional Investors (Hedge Funds) (Billionaires) from buying and taking away all our homes. We must return these homes to people to live in once again as owners, not renters for corporations. We must stop the Insurance Industry from using every loophole created by them to steal more and more money from customers for no legitimate reasons. The same goes for the Pharmaceutical & Healthcare Industry. We need to dismantle and reimagine a fair and equitable Credit Rating system that works to benefit all Americans. We must end discriminatory Lending Restrictions & Practices. We must establish and protect all marginalized citizens from all forms of discrimination. I am a proud and Out Transgender American, but I stand with all who are oppressed and need human dignity and representation. I am a proud handgun owner and 2nd Amendment advocate, but I understand and agree that assault weapons are unnecessary for civilian use. We need meaningful and comprehensive Gun Reform Legislation NOW. We need to stop corporate GREED they call “INFLATION”. We need to address and react to Climate Change before it ends all of us, Republicans included. Billionaires hate Democracy and benefit if an Authoritarian is elected. Don’t ever think otherwise.
  • Stop MAGA. Stop PROJECT 2025. Educate everyone of what MAGA is planning for all of us. Teach everyone what the Heritage Foundation, along with 50+ other Right Wing Think Tanks are doing openly & behind the scenes to change & control our lives. Stop Apathy in its tracks with facts. Realize they have declared WAR on Democracy and are in the attack planning stages already & are ready to implement their EVIL Agenda on DAY 1. End the dehumanization of “Homeless” UNHOUSED Americans. The same for LGBTQIA+ Americans. Teach factual BLACK American history to include the evils of enslaved African Americans, those who were FREED & accomplished so much before being murdered to create the Jim Crow Era. Teach the CIVIL RIGHTS ACT of 1875.
  • REACT to CLIMATE CHANGE with a fierce and unstoppable force to prevent those in denial from killing all life on Earth. Propose and don’t stop proposing legislation to teach the opposition of what lies ahead with their deadly agendas for profit at the expense of survival. Expose those who benefit from our destruction along the way. Stop them from succeeding. Make no room for corporations over human beings. It is not radical for all human beings to survive and prosper. Meet this moment now before you are no longer free to challenge an Authoritarian. Plan now to make it possible for future generations to live and prosper. These will be your children, their children, & beyond. We have a human obligation to those who came before us. Change.
  • CODIFY REPRODUCTIVE FREEDOM & Restore a WOMAN’S RIGHT to CHOOSE. STOP Christian White Nationalism and protect the freedom of Religion & Freedom of religion. Protect & Educate everyone as to the meaning of Diversity, Equity, & Inclusion. Stop Republicans from lowering the age to work and the age of consent to marry. Protect our children from being exploited by those who want to make them unprotected indentured servants of the corporations. Create regulations of steel to protect and provide for children. Make sure every child can eat, learn, & grow. STOP MASS shootings with semi-automatic weapons & the murder of our citizens. Stand up to the NRA Gun Lobby and defeat them. STOP unchecked Capitalism & Greed NOW.
Housing, Foreign Policy, Climate Change, Healthcare, Voting Rights,
Corporate Greed & Takeover
I will provide examples of creative works that have inspired me to want to become a better human being by awakening compassion & forgiveness, strength & courage, & dignity and empathy.

Star Trek original series for the dream of traveling interstellar space to learn of other life I the universe. They subscribed to no religion, no money, no politics, no colonization of other worlds. They inspired so many of today’s & tomorrow’s technological advances with ideas they represented in a 1960s sci-fi tv show.

Dr. Henry Louis Gates’ “Reconstruction” documentary on PBS for telling so wonderfully the true story of Black Americans during the Reconstruction era after the Civil War. Watch it and learn.

Malcom X by Spike Lee when it was originally in theaters. I remember some people being offended and walking out during the movie. I feel lucky that I was curious & wanted to learn, & stayed to watch it in it’s entirety as a young man.

Ken Burns’ many documentaries, particularly “The Civil War” & another recently aired about “Benjamin Franklin” A Film By Ken Burns. I learned more about our history than in any classroom.

“The Diary of Anne Frank” was shown to my 7th grade class by our amazingly intelligent and compassionate Reading teacher. I learned at a young age what the Holocaust amd Nazism were from. Jewish American educator who lived us all. He was like no one I’ve ever met before or since.

The original “Star Wars” Trilogy for showing what an advanced evil empire could be capable of doing to planets & beings across the universe. It closely mirrored the Nazi regime down to Darth Vader’s helmet, as well as the Stormtroopers who were blindly obedient to their leader. It demonstrated to me as a young child that seemingly unqualified and unrecognized people who had plenty of flaws could stand up to tyranny to stop it. It entertained me along the way, which was helpful for my 8 year old mind to take it in.

There are too many to list.
Courage is the most important because it is required to act on anything. With courage, we can know how to be fair to all and take care of all. Capitalism with the 1% having more wealth than the remaining 99% is not Capitalism, its Exploitation. It’s control through monopolization. Billionaires are hoarders of wealth they haven’t earned. Once a person makes a billion, it’s impossible not to make more just by virtue of the initial billion. Money is a resource needed by all to invest in our future and should not be hoarded by those who only seek to acquire more. Unchecked wealth actually creates poverty by preying on those who have less. By charging more for everything, billionaires insure everyone is trapped in debt and desperation. It’s a mental health problem among the Ultra Wealthy. They never have enough to be satisfied. Show me a true philanthropist who gives back to everyday people who made them wealthy to begin with. I challenge everyone to find that billionaire who knows people are more important than money.

Billionaires and the sycophants always place profits over people. It’s a sickness that is not cured by acquiring more money. It only makes it more malignant and destructive to everyone it touch’s. They say doing anything for anyone is socialism, yet they love having a military to protect them. Same for loving law enforcement, firefighters, doctors & nurses, public education to develop a work force, roads, bridges, all infrastructure, ports, airports to fly their private jets in & out of. The list of social services we all appreciate goes on & on, yet billionaires decry it as the end of civilization. They don’t want to give back, paying as little tax as possible, many times, none at all. Those with abundance never seem to have enough to share with those who are starving and living on our streets in the elements. What has happened to their souls? For those who believe in the tenets of Christ, this is incompatible with the man.
Courage, compassion, empathy, ability to have intellectual debate, seek the best compromise where everyone can achieve the best outcome for all constituents. Strength to persevere.
The core responsibilities are to never forget to fairly represent everyone because an elected legislator is a lawmaker. These laws must be fair and beneficial to all, even those who oppose an elected legislator. The Constitution & Bill of Rights were written for everyone, though they actually excluded so many. People of color, all women, were not originally intended to benefit from these founding documents. We need to read the words & understand we are all in need of it’s protections and rights. We are all Americans, but human beings first. We all live & die on this earth. We re not supposed to be separated from our conscience and humanity by power and oppression.

We could learn a great deal from history. Whether it’s from ancient times all the way through to the present, human beings continue to fail in the same ways. We have always had kings, Emperors, Caesars, Pharoahs, Authoritarian Dictators, & Banana Republics. We have only ever had one true experiment in Democracy & that is the United States of America. We have been more fortunate in this lifetime and in the space of time itself to live in such an era. We are fools to take it for granted either believing it will last without fighting to protect it everyday. We are equally foolish, as well
As wreck less to forego it altogether and decide that it doesn’t matter and is no longer needed. This is why America is a beacon of hope around the world, the first and most successful to have ever been attempted by human kind.

We all

Come from this earth and will return to it again. What we do today matters more tomorrow in the long run. Make the best decisions possible to learn to be a better human being each day to evolve into someone who can contribute to making the world a better place for all, lifetimes beyond our own. We owe this to those will advance far beyond what we are capable of today. We also owe it ourselves. We have so little time to save our species and all others on this planet.
To inspire others to never give up on themselves to become a better human being.
Restaurant employee bussed tables. 1 year
“Turn The Lights Back On” by Billy Joel
Previously living my life in denial of who I am. I came out as a transgender person in the beginning of 2020 and have never regretted being myself since.
It’s been lacking the last two years in a huge way, but at its finest, it has been responsible for achieving so many fundamental advancements for our nation throughout our history. This question isn’t asking me about the many failures as well.
Yes, but not absolutely necessary. There are always ethical outliers who can make a positive difference over someone who’s jaded and ineffective.
Climate Change - Drought & Famine, AI - Artificial Intelligence, Authoritarianism, Healthcare, Another Worldwide Pandemic
I oppose them because they prevent those who are elected from the time it takes to learn the infrastructure of Goverment on a legislative level. There is a learning curve involved and it’s not easy to simply improve the world in 1 or 2 terms. There are so many times a legislator can vote in a session, depending on the efficiency of that governing body and many good bills get denied a vote and or a voted against. These can be brought to a vote in the future by those who want to to the best for all citizens. We have other methods for removing ineffective & awful legislators if we educate and vote to remove them. Too many awful career politicians thrive as a result of voter apathy and inaction. Again, if we have better transparency in how legislators are being influenced, we will know how to react to remove them.
I witness the increasing housing crisis in Las Vegas firsthand and see the suffering for so many. I witness the Private Equity looting of our city and am driven to stop it more than ever. I see the discrimination of the LGBTQIA+ community around me and I experience it on a daily basis in one form or another. It’s more often than people would like to believe.
Yes, when policy is intended to serve everyone equally to thrive.
We have true corruption all around us in our country, so we need to focus Congressional investigative powers on real abuses that affect everyone. We need to stop abusing these powers with Culture Wars, Anti-Trans Hate, Conspiracy Theories, & Religious bias.
Banking, Housing, and Urban Affairs.

Foreign Relations.
Environment and Public Works.
Small Business and Entrepreneurship.
Science, Space, and Technology.
Health, Education, Labor, and Pensions

Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs.
We need true accountability and transparency with the technology updated to be able to easily search and know how our money is being spent and exactly how to National Debt increases while we can see it daily.

We need to be able to put it everyday language and easy to understand terms so everyone has this knowledge.

We need to much more easily see transparency in political contributions by individuals, corporate lobbying, SUPER PACS & their unlimited & hidden dark money investments into our legislators.

We need to see how think tanks are writing the legislation that is placed in front of our elected legislators, governors, & the President. We need to object to & stop legislation by proxy now.

We need to see transparency amongst our elected legislators when it comes to stocks and trading with privileged information. We need to see transparency when it comes to wealthy corporate appointees who are nominated to oversee our Administrative Agencies (Think Louis DeJoy USPS) as a prime example of what can happen to an agency when corporate profiteers are appointed.

Campaign website

Brittain’s campaign website stated the following:

Issues Affecting Nevadans.

These are the issues that are making surviving more and more difficult every day for a growing number of Nevadans.

Housing Crisis Created By Private Equity Investors

NEVADANS ARE FACING AN OUT OF CONTROL HOUSING MARKET COUPLED WITH A HORRIFIC HOUSING CRISIS PUTTING MORE NEVADANS ON THE STREET EVERY DAY.

Reproductive Freedom

A Woman’s Right to Choose is Under Attack Now More Than Ever!

STOP THE GOP HOUSE REPUBLICANS FROM DRAGGING OUR NATION BACK TO A SHAMEFUL PAST WHERE WOMEN WERE FORCED INTO COMPLETE SUBMISSION IN EVERY WAY WITH NO FREEDOM OF ANY CHOICE.

Climate Change - Drought & Famine

CLIMATE CHANGE IS NO LONGER A DISTANT THREAT OR POSSIBILITY. IT IS HERE NOW!

The sunset is upon us and the dawn of a new and terrifying era in human history is fast approaching. Gone, will be the days of laughter in the sun and children playing together outside. It will be too hot to be anywhere in the daylight of the sun. There won't be enough water to cool off and stay hydrated when the indoor temperatures are too hot for our bodies to cool down as we perspire and dehydrate.

Unaffordable Auto Insurance

NEVADA IS THE 2ND HIGHEST IN THE COUNTRY FOR AUTO INSURANCE.

Nevadans are having a more difficult time affording auto insurance, and more increases expected soon. How can this continue? We’ve already endured increases of up to 35%.

WHO’S GOING TO STEP IN AND HELP YOU?

With local news now reporting Nevada as the 2nd Highest in the country for Auto Insurance, how can this continue? We've already endured increases of up to 35% for Auto Insurance, now they promise it's going to get even worse. With all the additional costs for utilities, groceries, and gasoline, how can anyone survive when big corporations continue to raise prices everywhere they can and blame it on "INFLATION"?

Border Security & Streamlined Legal Citizenship Pathway

It would greatly benefit our nation to create a viable pathway to Legal Immigration resulting in US Citizenship

There has never been a more comprehensive Bipartisan Bill introduced than the one that the former Republican President stopped from passing so he could campaign on the problem instead of the solution. This is where we are today as a nation.

STOP ANTI-LGBTQIA+ HATE LEGISLATION

STOP ANTI-LGBTQIA+ LEGISLATION

We find ourselves at an inflection point where American citizens of all races, ethnicities, ages, and genders are under specific and unrelenting attack from the MAGA Extremist Right Wing Republican Party.

Gun Reform Legislation & Policy

America needs sensible Gun Reform Legislation to maintain our 2nd Amendment Right & protect Americans from Gun Violence & Deaths

Health Care For All - Complete Coverage

Americans Deserve Good Health and Prosperity. We Need Universal Health Care Now and Forever!

COMPLETE HEALTHCARE COVERAGE FOR ALL

HEALTH CARE IS ULTIMATELY THE NUMBER 1 REQUIREMENT FOR ALL HUMAN BEINGS. WITHOUT IT, WE SUFFER TOO MUCH AND DIE TOO EARLY. THE CHOICE IS CLEAR. STOP CORPORATE GREED AND SAVE LIVES. [2]
