Through her leadership of the Greening Schools and Climate Resilience Committee, Dr. Rivas is advancing sustainability and safety through:

  • School climate readiness and hazard prevention, while connecting students to green job pathways through CTE and apprenticeship programs

  • Dual enrollment programs with local colleges
  • Adult Education opportunities that connect families and communities to college, career, and lifelong learning
