Campaign themes

2016

The following issues were listed on Petersen's campaign website. For a full list of campaign themes, click here.

  • National Defense: Roger knows that our national defense must be a priority. We must have the best-trained and equipped armed forces to keep our families safe.
  • Jobs and the Economy: Roger knows we must grow the economy, fight for real tax reform and get the government off the backs of our small businesses.
  • Fix Washington: Career politicians are more focused on their re-election than on compromise and moving the country forward. Roger is not going to Washington to make a name for himself; his priority will be serving you.
  • Immigration: Immigration laws must be fixed, enforced and done so with respect to those who have immigrated lawfully and those who wish to come here in the future.
