I am a US Navy Veteran, running to make an actual difference for not only my local community but for all of New Mexico. I have never run for an political office , however what I see I believe with my life experience I can make that difference.
  • Wants to stand up for regular people that have lost the ear of the Public Servants that cater to special interests
  • Focus on New Mexicans, our economy, jobs, Veterans and Education.
  • Honest and genuine
I am most passionate about getting New Mexico back to the Constitution that is dear to me. In addition I want to see our education system get back to teaching the kids in our communities, the basics of reading, writing and math. Offer vocational classes for those that want to work in the various vocational jobs instead of going to college. Make school an actual learning place rather than a place for trying to pass standardized tests.
Being honest and genuine. Dont promise things that cant be achieved, but promise that one will work hard for their constituents.
Life experience is one of the qualities I believe are important. I have worked a few blue collar jobs, was all but homeless but during that time I stayed true to being honest and genuine. I dont speak political speak, by that I mean I will straightforward. Tenacity to fight the good fight for what I believe in. Stubborness to not give in. Faith in God, not a religious faith, but a personnal faith. My most important quality is staying true to my Oath of Enlistment that I took in 1980 and will take again when I am elected.
First historical event I remember was the assassination of Robert F Kennedy. I was 6 at the time and didnt understand what I was seeing on TV until my mother explained it to me.
Stephen King's The Stand. Even through all that happens in the book, all the evil, it still shows that the human spirit and faith in good, does prevail.
