Biography

Barone was born in Manhattan, New York, and lives in Plano, Texas. He earned bachelor's and graduate degrees from the University of Texas at Dallas in 1989. Barone’s career experience includes working as a businessman and trader.

No.

I believe Senators should be limited to 2 terms and House members to 6 terms (12 years each).

Absolutely - in the House Committee on Financial Services.

Is there a particular representative, past or present, whom you want to model yourself after?

There are SO MANY but I LOVE Devin Nunes, Jim Jordan, Lance Gooden, John Ratcliffe, Louie Gohmert - among others.

Both sitting representatives and candidates for office hear many personal stories from the residents of their district. Is there a story that you’ve heard that you found particularly touching, memorable, or impactful?

Yes. A woman that had to go bankrupt after a large surprise bill from a health care provider.
