Roger Lane
Roger Lane is a judge on the Brunswick Circuit in Georgia. He was appointed by Governor Nathan Deal in March 2012 to fill the seat vacated by Amanda F. Williams.[1] Lane was elected to a full term in 2014, which expires in 2018.[2]
Education
Lane received his B.B.A. from Georgia State University and his J.D. from Mercer University.[3]
Career
From 2005 until April 2012, Lane served as a Republican member of the Georgia House of Representatives, representing District 167. He also previously served on the Glynn County school board for eight years.[1] Lane practiced law in the Brunswick circuit since 1976, when he was admitted to the Georgia Bar. During his time as an practicing attorney, Lane specialized on clients with lung ailments and those affected by asbestos.[4][5]

Lane was elected to the First Superior Court, Brunswick Circuit on May 20, 2014. He defeated Mary Helen Moses with 64.4% of the vote.[6][7]
2012
Lane did not seek re-election to the Georgia House of Representatives in 2012. He chose not to seek re-election after taking a position for a superior court judgeship in the Brunswick Judicial Circuit.[8]
2010
Lane ran for re-election to the Georgia House of Representatives, 167th District seat in 2010. No one ran against Lane in the general election on November 2, 2010.[9]

In 2008, Lane was re-elected to the Georgia House of Representatives District 167. Lane (R) ran unopposed and finished with 18,486 votes.[11] Lane raised $41,485 for his campaign fund.[12]
