|Instead of getting ahead, families are struggling, whole school districts are failing to meet the needs of our kids, and access to quality, affordable health care and reasonably priced prescription drugs are out of reach for too many.
I'm going to bring the same tenacity to Congress that I brought to protecting the United States throughout my decade of service to our country. I'll work harder than anyone to build a real grassroots campaign across this district that can win, and I'm not going to take a dime from corporate PACs and special interests. This campaign is about people right here in Wisconsin-not them.- Quality, affordable healthcare should be a right for all Americans, but too many in Washington - including Bryan Steil - are beholden to the big insurance and drug companies.
- Good-paying, family-supporting jobs should be an expectation for the people of Southeastern Wisconsin.
- As a blue-collar kid in a family that faced our share of struggles, education gave me the opportunity to reach my potential and ultimately serve my country.
I believe that Congress needs more people who've served in military and intelligence roles overseas in order to make decisions in the best interests of our national security. I was honored to serve our country as a civilian intelligence officer. I served in both Republican and Democratic administrations - and my service took me to Afghanistan for 20 months where I worked with our military to shut down funding for the Taliban and other Al Qaeda-affiliated terrorist groups who target our troops.
