Roger Stuart
Roger Stuart was an Oklahoma district court judge for Oklahoma County, which is located in District 7.[1] Stuart was appointed by Governor Mary Fallin in July 2011 to fill the vacancy left by Noma D. Gurich, who resigned after being appointed to the Oklahoma Supreme Court.[2] He was elected to the Seventh District Court in 2014 for a term that would have expired on January 13, 2019.[3] He retired in August 2017.[4]

General: He defeated Amy Palumbo in the general election on November 4, 2014, receiving 50.5 percent of the vote.

Education
Stuart received his bachelor's degree and J.D. from the University of Oklahoma.[5]
Career
Prior to becoming a district judge, Stuart was a special judge in the juvenile division of District 7, and an adjunct professor at Oklahoma City University Law School. He has also served as assistant general counsel to the Oklahoma Department of Human Services, an assistant U.S. attorney, and an assistant district attorney in Oklahoma County.[5]
