Campaign website
Tanenbaum's campaign website stated the following:
SAFETY
Safety is—and must remain—the government’s top responsibility. I am committed to ensuring Beverly Hills continues to be one of the safest cities in the nation by strongly supporting our police and fire departments. Every neighborhood deserves to feel protected.
With the subway extension and significant development activity in the southwest and southeast areas, these neighborhoods require heightened attention. We must also prepare for the arrival of hundreds of new housing units and highrise buildings. My focus on these safety priorities will not waver.
COMMUNICATION & FOLLOW THROUGH
As Beverly Hills evolves rapidly, clear communication and consistent followthrough are more essential than ever. Strengthening trust between residents and elected officials begins with transparency, accessibility, and genuine engagement.
I am thoughtful, fairminded, positive, and committed to building consensus. Every resident, small business, and public employee deserves to feel represented. The more we connect, the better our shared outcomes.
To support this, I would bring back Weekly Walks—I’m a walker, and there’s no better way to talk, listen, and understand what matters to you. I would also host ongoing informal gatherings across the city to encourage open dialogue and collaboration.
INFRASTRUCTURE
We must prepare our infrastructure for the next 20 years. Our electrical grid is a particular concern. With rapid advances in technology and the growing demands of AI, energy needs will increase dramatically. We must plan now to ensure Beverly Hills is ready.
