Rolf Lundberg is a lobbyist with The Lundberg Group, which he founded.[2] Lundberg was a member of Donald Trump's presidential transition team, a group of advisors tasked with recommending presidential appointments for the incoming administration.[2][3]
Career
Rolf Lundberg graduated from the University of Virginia School of Law in 1985. In 1992, he served as counsel for the U.S. Senate. He left that position in 1996.[1]
He later served as senior vice president of Congressional and public affairs at the U.S. Chamber of Commerce.[1][4] He remained there until 2013, when he left and started his own lobbying firm, The Lundberg Group.[3][4][5] He has lobbied for groups like Choice Hotels and the International Franchise Association.[3]
Donald Trump presidential transition team, 2016-2017
Lundberg was a member of Donald Trump's presidential transition team in his first presidential term. The transition team was a group of around 100 aides, policy experts, government affairs officials, and former government officials who were tasked with vetting, interviewing, and recommending individuals for top cabinet and staff roles in Trump's administration. He was the team's trade reform advisor.
