The city of Anchorage, Alaska, held elections for city council on April 4, 2017. The filing deadline for candidates wishing to run in this election was February 10, 2017. Six of the 11 city council seats were up for election.[2] Felix Rivera defeated Don Smith, Marcus Sanders, and Ron Alleva in the Anchorage Assembly, District 4-Seat G general election.[3]
