Campaign themes

2015

Fedorchak completed a voter guide profile for the St. Louis Post-Dispatch:

What are your top priorities for the district?

The district's longterm financial plan: We must decide if we want to support our children or do the bare minimum. Implementation of the strategic plan: Interim Superintendent Norm Ridder provided us a pathway to become a high-performing district. Improving facilities. Increasing student-teacher contact time and professional development time. Technology and infrastructure.

Why are you qualified to serve in this office?

I have proudly served nearly four years and as president this past year. We faced the challenge of finding two superintendents. We have implemented a long-range strategic plan. I am a 24-year resident and parent of children in Mehlville schools. If re-elected, I will become the second member to reach advanced certification with MSBA. I've held the line on taxes.[8]
