Ron Maurer (b. March 10,1963) is a former Republican member of the Oregon House of Representatives, representing District 3 from 2007 to 2011.

Maurer began his political experience as a member on the District 7 Grants Pass School Board, where he served from 2001 to 2004.

Biography

Maurer earned his B.S. in Science Education from Oregon State University in 1985, his M.S. in Adult Continuing and Occupational Education from Kansas State University in 1989 and his Ed.D. in Adult Education from Northern Illinois University in 1999.[1]

His professional experience includes working as a clinic manager and owner of the Rogue River Health Clinic since 2001, as the co-owner of Maurer Properties Limited Liability Company, as an employee at the Athletic Operations Department at Northern Illinois University and as a compliance coordinator at the National Collegiate Athletic Association at Northern Illinois University. Maurer served in the United States Army as a medical evacuation helicopter pilot from 1985 to 1994 and as Major in the United States Army Reserve from 1994 to 2006.[1]
