Ron Stoffel
Ron Stoffel was a candidate for an at-large seat on the Robbinsdale Area Board of Education in Minnesota. He lost in the general election on November 4, 2014. Stoffel previously ran unsuccessfully for an at-large seat on November 6, 2012.
Biography
Ron Stoffel is a resident of Robbinsdale, Minnesota. Stoffel earned his A.A. degree in accounting and finance from North Hennepin Community College and his B.S. degree in accounting from the University of Minnesota, Twin Cities.[1] He is employed as a corporate tax consultant and has spent more than 30 years as an accountant. Stoffel is also a board member of Minnesotans Against Common Core.[2]

The election in Robbinsdale featured four at-large seats up for general election on November 4, 2014. Incumbents Mark Bomchill and Patsy Green ran against challengers Andrea Bejarano-Robinson, David Boone, Michael J. Herring, Jeff Houle, Pamela Lindberg and Ron Stoffel for the seats. Fellow board members Linda Johnson and Tom Walsh did not file for re-election.

Funding
Stoffel did not report any contributions or expenditures during the election, according to Robbinsdale Area Schools.[3] State law does not require campaign finance reporting if contributions or expenditures do not exceed $750 in a calendar year.[4]
