Ron Vincent was a 2014 Republican candidate who sought election to the U.S. House to represent the 4th Congressional District of Mississippi.[1] He was defeated by incumbent Steven Palazzo in the Republican primary on June 3, 2014.

Vincent was previously a 2012 Republican candidate who sought election to the U.S. House to represent the 4th Congressional District of Mississippi. He was defeated by incumbent Steve Palazzo in the March 13 primary.[2]

Vincent was born in Hattiesburg, Mississippi. He graduated from Mississippi State University with a B.S. in Electrical Engineering, and spent much of his career with GE Energy. He spent three years in the military as a radio operator with the US Army. He has 15 years of business experience in Western and Eastern Europe, where he learned to speak and write German. He is a member of the Main Street Baptist Church in Hattiesburg, Mississippi.[3]

Vincent ran in the 2014 election for the U.S. House to represent Mississippi's 4th District. Vincent sought the Republican nomination in the primary on June 3, 2014, but lost to incumbent Steven Palazzo.
