Beaty (Republican Party) ran for election for the the Cape and Islands District of the Massachusetts State Senate in 2014. He was defeated in the general election.[1]
Biography
Beaty was elected to serve as a Barnstable County Commissioner in 2016. He served from 2017 to 2020.[2][3][4]

The signature filing deadline for candidates wishing to run in this election was June 3, 2014. Incumbent Dan Wolf was unopposed in the Democratic primary. Ronald Beaty, Jr. defeated Allen Waters in the Republican primary. Wolf defeated Beaty in the general election.[1]
