Ronald Buxton
Ronald Buxton (March 23, 1949 - June 18, 2021) is a former Democratic member of the Pennsylvania House of Representatives, representing District 103 from 1993-2013. He also served as House Majority Caucus Administrator.
Buxton earned his AS from Harrisburg Area Community College in 1971. His professional experience includes his work as Department Director of Community Development for the City of Harrisburg from 1985 to 1992.
Buxton served as Susquehanna Township Commissioner from 1971 to 1975. He then served as President of the Board of Commissioners from 1978 to 1979.
Buxton passed away on June 18, 2021, from complications due to lung disease.[1]

Buxton won re-election to the 103rd District seat in 2010. He defeated Karl Singleton and Brooks Mountcastle in the primary election, receiving 2,894 votes while Singleton and Mountcastle received 2,394 and 880 votes respectively. Buxton was unchallenged in the general election which took place on November 2, 2010.[2]

On November 4, 2008, Buxton won re-election to the 53rd District seat of the Pennsylvania House of Representatives. He received 21,433 votes running unopposed.[3]
