Ronald Dresnick was a judge of the Eleventh Judicial Circuit Court, Civil Division, in Florida. He was appointed to this position by former Governor Lawton Chiles on March 1, 1996. He retired when his term expired on January 5, 2015.[1][2]

Education

Dresnick received a B.A. degree from American University in 1966, a J.D. degree from the University of Miami in 1970 and an LL.M. degree from Harvard Law School in 1971.[3][4]

Career

Dresnick began his career in 1971 as an assistant public defender. He also worked briefly for the firm of Hunter & Atkinson, P.A. In 1974, he left his job as public defender to join the Law Offices of Philip Carlton, Jr. Two years later, he started his own practice, Ronald C. Dresnick, P.A. He then became a founding partner of Bailey, Gerstein, Rashkind & Dresnick, P.A. in 1984. He left that position in February of 1996 to join the circuit court.[1][4][3]
