Ronald E. Spivey
Ronald E. Spivey was a superior court judge for the 21st Judicial District of the Fifth Division of the Superior Court, serving Forsyth County in North Carolina.[1] He was appointed to the court by former Governor Jim Hunt in January 2001 and was re-elected in November 2010.[2] He retired on October 31, 2014.[3]
Education
Spivey received his undergraduate degree from North Carolina State University in 1982 and his J.D. from Wake Forest University in 1985.[2][4]
Career
Before he became a superior court judge, Spivey served as a district court judge for the 21st Judicial District from 1994 to 2000. He also served as an assistant district attorney in Forsyth County for eight years.[2]
2010 election
Spivey was re-elected to the superior court after running unopposed.[5]
