Ronald G. Morgan is a federal magistrate judge for the United States District Court for the Southern District of Texas. He was appointed to the court on May 3, 2009, and his current term expired on May 2, 2025.[1]

Education

After graduating from the U.S. Air Force Academy, Judge Morgan received his law degree from Dickinson School of Law in June of 1985. He also earned a LL.M. from George Washington University.[2][3]

Career

Judge Morgan became a lawyer in 1985. From 1998 to 2002, he was an Assistant U.S. Attorney in Brownsville. He was appointed to his current position of magistrate judge in 2009.[2]
