Ronald Giles
Ronald Giles is a judge of the Michigan 36th District Court. He assumed office on January 1, 2007. His current term ends on January 1, 2027.
Giles ran for re-election for judge of the Michigan 36th District Court. He won in the general election on November 3, 2020.
On November 4, 2014, he was re-elected unopposed for another six-year term.[1][2]
Biography
Military service
Giles served in the United States Army.[3]
Education
Giles received his undergraduate and graduate degrees, as well as his J.D. degree, from Wayne State University.[3]
Career
Giles practiced law for 22 years before he became a judge for the 36th District Court. He maintained a private practice, worked as a hearing referee for the Michigan Department of Civil Rights, and served as general counsel for a community mental health organization.[3]
