Ronald Joel Rothschild was a Unified Family Court judge of the 17th Judicial Circuit Court in Florida. He was appointed by former Governor Lawton Chiles on June 24, 1998. In 2006, he was re-elected to a term that ended on January 7, 2013.[1][2][3][4]

Education

Rothschild received his B.A. degree from Ohio State University in 1969 and his J.D. degree from the Cleveland State University School of Law in 1974.[5]

Career

Rothschild worked as a private practice lawyer in Hollywood, Fla. from 1974 to 1991. He then joined the Broward County Court, where he served until his elevation to the circuit court in 1998.[5]
