Ronald Kaye is a judge of the Superior Court of Los Angeles County in California. Kaye assumed office in 2020. Kaye's current term ends on January 8, 2029.

Kaye won re-election for judge of the Superior Court of Los Angeles County in California outright in the primary on June 7, 2022, after the primary and general election were canceled.

Governor Gavin Newsom (D) appointed Kaye to the court on November 13, 2020, to replace Richard Edward Rico.[1]

Although California Superior Court judges are elected in nonpartisan elections, a press release from Gov. Newsom's office announcing Kaye's appointment on November 13, 2020, identified him as a Democrat.[1]

Kaye received his M.A. in urban planning from the University of California, Los Angeles and his J.D. from the University of California, Los Angeles School of Law.[1]
