Ronald Lawrence Bauer
Ronald Lawrence Bauer is a former judge for the Superior Court of Orange County in California. He was appointed by former governor George Deukmejian in December 1990 to succeed Manuel A. Ramirez. He retired from the court in 2021. [1][2][3]
Education
Bauer received a bachelor's degree from Harvard University and a J.D. from the University of Virginia School of Law. Bauer also received an LL.B. from the University of Edinburgh in Scotland.[2]
Career
Prior to becoming a judge, Bauer served as a judge pro tempore for the Orange County Superior Court and as an arbitrator for the American Arbitration Association. Bauer also worked as an Investigative Referee for the California Bar’s disciplinary review program. From 1974 to 1984, Bauer was an attorney in private practice and from 1967 to 1972 he was an associate with the firm of Kindel & Anderson.[2]
